Bandits Kill Women Resisting Rape in Kaduna State

In Kaduna State, bandits killed two women who allegedly resisted attempts to be raped while in captivity. The incident occurred in the Hayin Dam Forest area, within the Kachia Local Government Area.

The bandits had initially abducted a group of individuals and demanded a ransom of N14 million. The families of the victims struggled to raise the ransom and eventually managed to gather N13 million.

Despite the payment, the bandits executed the two women on the spot after they refused to comply with the bandits' demands. The male victims were released after the ransom was partially paid, with food supplies provided as well.

A spokesperson for the Kaduna State Police Command, DSP Hassan Mansur, was contacted for comments but did not respond to calls or text messages regarding the incident.
