Bandits Kill Residents, Kidnap Others in Fresh Sokoto Attacks

In a series of fresh attacks by armed bandits across five communities in Sokoto State, several residents were killed, others injured, and an unknown number abducted. The attacks occurred in Sabon Birni Local Government Area, with fears of a spillover from neighboring Zamfara State.

In a separate incident, bandits raided Woro community in Kwara State, leading to a confrontation with Nigerian army troops. The kidnapped individuals include a trader and a former PDP ward chairman.

Official casualty figures are yet to be released as security operations continue.
