Bandits Kill Three, Kidnap Catholic Priest and 10 Others in Kaduna Attack

In a violent attack on Karku community in the Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, bandits killed three individuals identified as Jacob Dan Azumi, Maitala Kaura, and Alhaji Kusari. They also kidnapped a Catholic priest, Rev.

Fr. Nathaniel Asuway, along with 10 other individuals.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, as reported by the Chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan, Jacob Shanet. The Diocese expressed deep sorrow over the attack, calling for the safe and speedy release of the abducted victims and praying for the souls of those killed.

The statement highlighted the worsening security situation in parts of Kaduna State and urged solidarity and prayers for the victims and their families.
