Barau I Jibrin Celebrates Oluremi Tinubu's 66th Birthday

On the occasion of Senator Oluremi Tinubu's 66th birthday, Senator Barau I Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate and first deputy Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, extended his congratulations. In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Barau commended the First Lady for her enduring contributions to national development and democratic governance.

He highlighted her flagship initiative, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), which addresses challenges in education, healthcare, social welfare, and empowerment for women and youth. Barau noted that her commitment to nation-building began during her tenure as First Lady of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, where she founded the New Era Foundation.

Additionally, he recognized her legislative contributions as a Senator representing Lagos Central from 2011 to 2023. He concluded by wishing her continued health and strength to support her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in serving Nigeria.
