Barau to upgrade BUK stadium as club make NPFL debut

Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin has announced plans to upgrade the football stadium at Bayero University Kano (BUK) as part of the club's debut in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The decision was made following the club's promotion from the Nigeria National League (NNL).

During a meeting with BUK management, Senator Barau's intervention was described as a move to transform the facility into a modern arena capable of hosting national league matches and football events. The Vice Chancellor of BUK, Professor Haruna Musa, expressed gratitude for the initiative, noting that it aligns with the university's vision and goals.

The university community is reportedly ready and willing to support the project to ensure its success.
