Barcelona Signs Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge for $10M

FC Barcelona announced the signing of 18-year-old winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge on Friday for a reported fee of €8.5 million ($10 million). The agreement allows Bisiwu to join the Catalan club until June 30, 2031.

Bisiwu, a promising Belgian youth international, is recognized for his pace, strength, and dribbling skills. Born on January 22, 2008, he has been a regular for Belgium’s youth national teams and gained prominence during the 2025 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where he was named in the tournament’s Best XI after helping Belgium reach the semi-finals.

He began his youth career at OH Leuven before moving to Club Brugge’s academy in 2020. Over the past two seasons, he made 14 appearances in the UEFA Youth League, scoring three goals.

Although he did not play for Club Brugge’s first team, he gained senior experience with Club NXT, making his Belgian Second Division debut in 2023 at age 15 and appearing 36 times for the team before his transfer to Barcelona.
