Juventus Signs Bosnian Winger Kerim Alajbegovic for €30M

Juventus has officially signed 18-year-old Bosnian winger Kerim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee of €30 million ($34.6 million), as announced by the Serie A club on Sunday. Alajbegovic, who was born in Germany, spent the previous season on loan at RB Salzburg, where he made 44 appearances and scored 13 goals across all competitions.

He has signed a five-year contract with Juventus. Alajbegovic also played a significant role in Bosnia's World Cup playoff matches, scoring in penalty shootout victories over Wales and Italy, and netting the opening goal in a 3-1 win against Qatar, which advanced Bosnia to the knockout stages for the first time.

In the knockout round, Bosnia lost 2-0 to co-hosts the United States. Prior to his time at Salzburg, Alajbegovic was part of Bayer Leverkusen's youth academy since 2021.
