Another Opposition Governor Set to Join APC Soon

Ajibola Basiru, a member of the APC, indicated during a Tuesday interview on Arise Television's Prime Time that another opposition governor is expected to join the APC soon. This statement follows the recent defection of Ahmadu Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa State, to the APC.

Basiru expressed optimism that within two weeks, the APC would expand to include 31 states, aiming to establish a pan-political party that reflects the consensus of the Nigerian people. He emphasized the need for unity in Nigerian politics to overcome divisive tendencies and partisan politics, asserting that the APC is focused on governance and development for the country.
