Calvin Bassey has arrived in Warsaw to join the Super Eagles for their international friendly match against Poland, scheduled for Wednesday. Coach Eric Chell is utilizing Bassey's presence to strengthen the defense options.

The team is based in Germany, with players like Philip Otel expected to arrive on Tuesday night. Other defenders include Fulham's player and semi Ajayi, while goalkeeper Maduka Okoye joined the team on Monday afternoon.

The Super Eagles have won their last two matches in the Unity Cup in London, with Arthur Okonkwo keeping clean sheets. The match against Poland will take place at the PGE Narodowi Stadium, commencing at 8:45 PM local time, which is 7:45 PM Nigerian time.
