Ndidi Leads Super Eagles in Poland Friendly Match

Wilfred Ndidi, captain of the Super Eagles, joined the squad in Warsaw ahead of their international friendly match against Poland scheduled for Wednesday. The team arrived on Monday and conducted their first training session at Stadion Polonii Warsaw under light rain.

The squad includes notable players such as Moses Simon, Akor Adam, and goalkeeper Maduka Okoye. Coach Eric Chell expressed optimism about the match, emphasizing the importance of building team morale despite the absence of key players like Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.

The team is also without midfielder Alhassan Yusuf and Samuel Chukwueze, who recently buried his mother in Imo State. The Super Eagles will also be traveling to Portugal for a final World Cup tune-up game during the current international window.
