The Bauchi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is experiencing internal conflict regarding the potential admission of Governor Bala Mohammed from the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Tensions surfaced during a caucus meeting in Abuja, where members clashed over the lack of consultation at the state level.

Caucus chairman Sama Ila Dahuwa warned against bypassing local structures, which could undermine internal democracy and destabilize the party.
