Bishop Crown Urges Christians to Embrace Faith and Love

During a funeral service held on Thursday in Bauchi State to honor Pastor Joyc Abubakar, Bishop Isaac Crown encouraged Christians to live lives characterized by faith, love, and humility. He described the deceased as a faithful servant of God and a mentor who left a legacy of service and inspiration.

Pastor Joyc Abubakar, who passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 60, was remembered for her commitment to God and her role in nurturing future professionals in various fields. Bishop Crown expressed gratitude to Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Mohammed and other officials for their condolences.

He referenced several scriptures to comfort the grieving, emphasizing that death is not the end but a transition to eternal life with Christ. Pastor Promis Yohanna, chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, also spoke, urging Christians to remain faithful and committed to serving God.
