Bauchi Governor Reshuffles Cabinet, Commissioner Faces Terrorism Financing Charges

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has announced a cabinet reshuffle, with the immediate removal of the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Ibrahim Gambo Galadima. The move is aimed at injecting fresh ideas into the system to enhance service delivery and improve governance across the state.

The Governor expressed appreciation for Galadima's service and commitment to the state. In a separate development, the Federal High Court in Abuja granted bail to the Bauchi State Commissioner of Finance, Yakubu Adamu, and three co-defendants in a case involving alleged terrorism financing.

The presiding judge, Justice Muhammad Umar, set bail at 100 million naira and imposed conditions including the provision of sureties and weekly reporting to the Department of State Services (DSS) in Bauchi State. The case has been adjourned for trial to commence on February 26.
