One Killed, Five Arrested in Bauchi Farmers-Herders Clash

In Bauchi, Nigeria, one person was killed in a clash between farmers and herders in Bursali Village. The incident, which occurred on November 26, 2025, involved herders from Jigawa State allegedly trespassing onto farmland, damaging crops, and triggering confrontations.

The Bauchi State Police Command, led by CSP Ahm Wakil, swiftly responded, arresting five suspects. The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Sani Omolori Aliyu, directed the case to be transferred for further investigation to ensure justice.
