Bandits Ambush and Kill 5 Police Officers in Bauchi, Sparking Tension

In a tragic incident, bandits ambushed and killed five police officers in Sabon Sara village, Darazo Local Government Area, Bauchi State. The Bauchi State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Ahm Wakil, confirmed the attack, which also left two officers injured.

The bandits, suspected to be Fulani militant group members, neutralized a certain number of assailants during the encounter. The injured and deceased officers were taken to Darazo General Hospital for treatment and post-mortem examination.

The incident adds to the growing security challenges faced by law enforcement in the region.
