Halkin E&P Gains Praise for Community Investments in Bayelsa

Host communities of Halkin Exploration and Production Limited’s Atala Petroleum Mining Licence (PML) 105 in Azagbene, Ekeremor Local Government Area, and Ezetu, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, commended the company for its community development investments. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Azagbene and Ezetu Host Communities Development Trust, Chief Idani Ebibomene, highlighted various projects executed by Halkin E&P, including solar streetlights, renovation of community facilities, and construction of public amenities.

Chief Fawari Tokowei, Vice Chairman of the HCDT Board of Trustees, praised the company for a water development project aimed at improving living conditions. Halkin E&P, under the leadership of Chairman Otunba Babatunde Morakinyo, expressed commitment to the objectives of the Petroleum Industry Act 2021, focusing on governance and benefits for host communities.
