Bayelsa Governor Commends NDDC for Naval Base and Hostel Projects

Bayelsa Governor, Sen. Douye Diri, praised the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for building a strategic Naval base in Ayakoro to combat sea piracy and protect natural resources.

The unveiling of the state-of-the-art Naval base coincided with the ongoing construction of a 650-bed hostel at the Niger Delta University in Amassoma. Dr.

Samuel Ogbuku, the Managing Director of NDDC, reiterated the commission's commitment to advancing infrastructure projects in line with President Bola Tinubu's agenda. The projects signify efforts to enhance security and socio-economic development in the Niger Delta region.
