Bayelsa State Government Declares Three-Day Mourning After Deputy Governor's Sudden Death

The Bayelsa State Government has announced a three-day mourning period after the sudden passing of Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo. Ewhrudjakpo, aged 60, collapsed during an official meeting and was later confirmed dead.

Governor Douye Diri expressed deep regret and shock over the loss, extending condolences to Ewhrudjakpo's family and the entire state. Former Governor Henry Seriake Dickson also joined in mourning the late deputy governor.
