Bayelsa State Declares Three-Day Mourning for Late Deputy Governor Ewhrudjakpo

The Bayelsa State Government has declared a three-day state mourning for Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, who passed away suddenly at the age of 60. Ewhrudjakpo collapsed and died while carrying out his official duties.

Governor Diri expressed deep regret and shock over the loss, extending condolences to the deceased's family and the people of Bayelsa State. Former Governor Henry Seriake Dickson also paid tribute to the late Deputy Governor.

Flags will be flown at half-mast across the state during the mourning period.
