Bayelsa and Kaduna to Host 2028 and 2030 National Sports Festivals in Nigeria

The National Sports Commission in Nigeria has confirmed Bayelsa and Kaduna as hosts for the 2028 and 2030 National Sports Festivals. This decision marks the first time Bayelsa will host the event, welcoming athletes from across the country.

Kaduna, on the other hand, will be hosting the festival for the third time, having previously hosted in 1977 and 2009. The Director-General of the National Sports Commission, Bukola Olopade, expressed the state's readiness and commitment to hosting Nigeria's biggest domestic sports gathering, aiming to reshape the festival's structure and restore its prestige.
