Bayern Munich Eyes Victor Osimhen Amid Kane Talks Delay

Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen as a potential long-term replacement for Harry Kane, whose contract negotiations remain unresolved. Kane has scored 130 goals in 133 competitive matches for Bayern but has yet to agree on a new deal.

Bayern's hierarchy is preparing for various outcomes regarding Kane's future. Osimhen, who is currently playing for Galatasaray after a successful loan spell from SSC Napoli, has rediscovered his form, scoring 37 goals in 41 matches across competitions.

He has also netted 10 league goals and seven in the UEFA Champions League, helping Galatasaray reach the round of 16. The Turkish club made Osimhen's move permanent last summer for a record €75 million, and he is contracted until June 2029.

Reports indicate that Bayern is seriously considering Osimhen, but challenges remain, including his steep wage demands and Galatasaray's valuation of around €150 million. Osimhen has expressed admiration for Juventus, but Napoli has blocked any potential transfer to the Italian club.
