Bayern Munich in Talks with Harry Kane for Contract Extension Amid Goal-Scoring Streak

Bayern Munich has commenced discussions with Harry Kane regarding a possible contract extension as the England captain's exceptional goal-scoring form persists. The club's sporting director, Max Eberl, confirmed the ongoing talks, emphasizing that the decision-making process is still underway.

Kane, who joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023 on a reported four-year deal worth €100 million, has been in devastating form, registering 119 goals and 30 assists in 126 appearances across competitions. The 31-year-old striker has quickly become a lethal forward for Bayern, hinting at a desire to remain in Germany beyond his current contract.

Kane's remarkable season includes scoring 34 goals in 30 matches, with 21 goals in 19 Bundesliga games. He is also chasing the Bundesliga's single-season scoring record of 41 goals set by former Bayern forward Robert Lewandowski.

Bayern's chief executive, Jan-Christian Dreesen, has downplayed the urgency of the negotiations, emphasizing Kane's focus on and off the pitch.
