Bayern Munich Signs Defender Nathaniel Brown for €55 Million

Bayern Munich has officially signed Germany defender Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt on a six-year contract that will run until 2031. The reported transfer fee is €55 million.

At 23 years old, Brown is expected to bolster Bayern's defense, particularly in light of injury issues affecting Alphonso Davies in the left-back position. Brown expressed his excitement about joining what he considers the best club in the world, stating his desire to set high goals and maximize his potential daily.

Bayern Munich's sporting director, Max Eberl, praised Brown's rapid development and potential for the future. Brown made his debut for Germany in October and has established himself as a key player, contributing to a 7-1 victory over Curacao in a recent tournament.

He joined Frankfurt from Nuremberg in 2024 for a fee of €3 million and scored four goals with four assists in 34 Bundesliga matches last season.
