Bayern Munich Signs Ismael Saibari on Five-Year Deal

Bayern Munich announced the signing of Moroccan midfielder Ismael Saibari from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven on a five-year deal that extends until 2031, with a reported transfer fee of €50 million (approximately $57 million). The 25-year-old midfielder is expected to enhance Bayern's already formidable attacking lineup, which includes players like Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Luis Diaz, Jamal Musiala, and Serge Gnabry.

Saibari expressed his dream of playing for Bayern, acknowledging it as one of the world's biggest clubs and emphasizing his desire to compete for major titles, including the UEFA Champions League. He had a notable performance in the World Cup, where Morocco reached the last 16, scoring a goal and converting a penalty in the knockout stage against the Netherlands.

Bayern's sporting director, Max Eberl, expressed delight in securing Saibari's services, highlighting the player's exciting potential following his impressive World Cup display. Saibari's transfer was preceded by reports of him missing training sessions earlier in the tournament due to medical assessments.
