Aikou Loses Gambit Status on Big Brother Naija Season 11

Aikou, a housemate on the Big Brother Naija reality show, lost his Gambit status on Monday following an ‘Operation Release Gambit’ vote by viewers. This decision came four weeks after he was initially voted as the male Gambit for Season 11.

During a diary session, Big Brother informed Aikou that his time as Gambit had ended, stating, “This also means that you will be up for possible eviction, just like every other housemate.” Aikou was previously protected from eviction due to his Gambit immunity, which is a role designated to secret agents within the show who carry out missions to influence the ongoing events. Alongside Aikou, the female Gambit, Flora, was also reinstated.

The announcement signifies a shift in Aikou's status, placing his fate in the hands of the voting public.
