APC Chieftain Urges El-Rufai to Address Corruption Allegations

An APC chieftain has publicly advised former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai to "be a man" in response to allegations of corruption and potential detention. The comments follow a report by Nuhu Ribadu, which accused El-Rufai of involvement in transactions related to thallium sulfate, a highly toxic chemical compound.

The chieftain emphasized the need for El-Rufai to clarify these allegations, which are serious enough to warrant the attention of security agencies. El-Rufai is expected to appear before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday to address these claims.

The APC chieftain further stated that the actions of security agencies would be deemed necessary in handling the allegations against El-Rufai, who is accused of attempting to evade potential prosecution.
