Adedimeji hinted at the news in a New Year message on January 1, 2026, suggesting they may have anticipated the arrival of their children. The couple married in December 2021, with their traditional wedding on December 18 and an Islamic ceremony on December 22.

Adedimeji has previously discussed the public pressure they faced regarding childlessness in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, describing the experience as barren. The couple is known for their partnership off-screen, and they collaborated on a Netflix film that premiered on September 27, 2024, which quickly reached number one on Netflix Nigeria's film chart and won three Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards.
