Benue State Implements Strict Waterway Safety Measures After Boat Tragedy

Benue State government, led by Joseph Har, has initiated rigorous safety measures after a boat tragedy on River Buruku. The new protocols include mandatory life jacket usage, prohibition of overloading, and adjusted travel times.

Col. Alex Igbaya Anshingu is overseeing the enforcement of these measures to restore public confidence in the ferry system.
