DSS Arraigns Nine Suspects for Benue and Plateau Killings

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arraigned nine prime suspects at the Federal High Court in Abuja for their alleged involvement in recent killings in Benue and Plateau states. The defendants face charges related to unlawful possession of firearms, aiding terrorism activities, and other offenses.

Among the accused are Terkende Ashuwa, Amos Alede, Haruna Adamu, Muhammed Abdullahi, Halima Haliru, Timna Manjo, Nanbol Tali, Danjuma Antu, and Silas Iduh Oloche. Some of the suspects pleaded guilty to the charges.

This legal action by the DSS is part of the government's efforts to address the security challenges in the affected regions.
