Sporting Lagos Crowned NNL Super 4 Champions with betPawa

Sporting Lagos won the 2025/26 NNL Super 4 tournament, concluding the season with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Inter Lagos at Remo Star Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State. Despite losing their opening matches, Sporting Lagos secured the championship based on goal difference, finishing level on points with Inter Lagos. betPawa, the tournament sponsor, awarded Sporting Lagos ₦18 million as part of a ₦2 million payout for their championship win, which is part of an expanded reward package that includes locker room bonuses for players and staff.

The total payout for the season reached ₦287,168,000, with Sporting Lagos players earning the highest bonuses among the Super 4 participants. Aliyu Baba was recognized as the highest goalscorer, while Paul Offor received the best coach award.

The initiative by betPawa aims to enhance competitive motivation and support Nigerian football.
