Zikoko Life Anthology Returns with New Stories and Director

The Zikoko Life Anthology, launched in 2025 by Big Cabal Media, is returning with a new edition that deepens its exploration of love, sex, and autonomy. The first edition adapted popular editorial franchises into short films about Nigerian womanhood and was praised for its emotionally honest narratives.

The new edition is produced and showrun by an unnamed individual and features returning directors alongside a new director. Uzzi serves as a screenwriter for one of the films.

This second edition focuses on characters navigating identity, desire, and autonomy amidst family, culture, and religion. The anthology continues to address questions surrounding sex, love, and autonomy.

One film, featuring Siraam, premiered at an unspecified event in November 2025 and portrays a woman's journey to self-discovery through her relationships. Another film examines a couple's relationship dynamics amidst shifting power balances.
