Africa Magic's 'Secret Lives' Premieres August 3

Africa Magic is set to premiere its latest original drama series, ‘Secret Lives’, on Monday, August 3. The series consists of 39 episodes and follows the character Zee, portrayed by Oluchi Amajuoyi, whose life is disrupted by a shocking revelation that jeopardizes her relationship with her partner.

As family secrets emerge, Zee must navigate through heartbreak, betrayal, and unexpected alliances to safeguard her future and that of her loved ones. The series combines elements of romance, family drama, and suspense, promising an emotional journey where every choice has significant consequences. ‘Secret Lives’ is produced by FEEMO and features a cast that includes Nollywood veteran Keppy Ekpeyong, Nonso Odogwu, Eyiyemi Olivia Rogbinyin, Ejiro Badare, Floyd Igbo, and Favour Etim.

James Omokwe, an AMVCA-nominated producer, serves as the showrunner, expressing that the series addresses generational family wounds and the impact of long-held secrets. Dr Busola Tejumola, Senior VP of Content at MultiChoice Nigeria, stated that the series explores relatable themes of love, family, and identity.
