Uba Sani's Bagoma-Gagumi Road Project to Boost Economy

The 36km Bagoma-Gagumi road project in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State, is set to be a transformative infrastructure initiative under Governor Uba Sani's administration. Dr.

Abdullahi Baba Ahm, Managing Director of the Kaduna State Road Agency (KADRA), announced during a site inspection that the project will surpass the previously commissioned Gadan Gayan Gwaraji Kujama road. The road will connect 66 farming communities, significantly improving access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities.

It includes a 130-meter bridge over the Kaduna River and is part of a broader initiative to construct 1,345 kilometers of roads across 20 local government areas. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year, with contractor CGC Nigeria Limited promising to deliver ahead of schedule.

Local residents expressed optimism that the road will enhance their livelihoods and economic opportunities, alleviating transportation challenges and improving overall living conditions.
