Blackburn Coach O'Neill Praises Alebiosu After Win

Blackburn Rovers' head coach Michael O'Neill expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance after a 3-1 victory over Millwall FC. The match, held on a Saturday, saw Millwall take an early lead with a goal from Luke Kundl.

However, Blackburn equalized in the 80th minute when Ryan Alebiosu made a significant forward run and assisted Mathias Jørgensen, who scored. Shortly after, Jørgensen added another goal to seal the win.

O'Neill praised Alebiosu's brilliant play and the team's overall effort, especially after a difficult week that included a prior defeat. He highlighted the importance of the three points in their battle to avoid relegation from the EFL Championship, noting the team's resilience and improved performance in the second half.

Blackburn currently stands in 19th place with eight league matches remaining in the season.
