Blessing CEO Returns to Instagram Amid Cancer Controversy

Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, returned to Instagram on Tuesday after a two-week hiatus during which she deactivated her account. This followed significant controversy surrounding her claims of battling stage 4 cancer.

Her partner, Ikechukwu Darri Ogbonna, also known as IVD, had previously disabled his social media account due to public backlash regarding these cancer claims. Upon her return, Blessing CEO deleted posts that linked to her alleged illness, including appeals for financial assistance for treatment.

The Nigerian Medical Association responded to the situation by calling for her arrest, alleging that she had circulated false medical reports and condemned the actions of the doctor associated with her claims as unethical and misleading to the public.
