BOI and GEN Nigeria Renew Partnership for MSME Support

The Bank of Industry (BOI) and Global Entrepreneurship Network Nigeria have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria. This renewed partnership was highlighted during a courtesy visit by BOI representatives to Mr.

Oluwatoyin Edu, who was recently appointed as the Executive Director in charge of MSME development. The meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration in enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem and promoting small business growth both locally and globally.

The Global Entrepreneurship Network Nigeria expressed confidence in Mr. Edu's leadership to further strengthen BOI's efforts in improving access to finance and broadening support structures for entrepreneurs nationwide.

The organization noted that stronger collaboration among ecosystem builders and financial institutions is crucial for unlocking growth opportunities for startups and MSMEs, which play a central role in job creation and economic development. The Global Entrepreneurship Network operates in 180 countries, providing resources to facilitate business startups and scaling.
