Bank of Industry (BOI) Receives ISO 27701 Certification for Data Protection

The Bank of Industry (BOI) has received the ISO 27701 certification for Privacy Information Management Systems (PIMS), becoming the first Development Finance Institution (DFI) and the second bank in Nigeria to achieve this milestone. The certification, issued by the British Standards Institution (BSI), aligns BOI with international privacy standards such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

This certification demonstrates BOI's commitment to global best practices in privacy and security management, showcasing a structured framework to safeguard sensitive data of customers, employees, and third parties.
