BoI Accredited by Adaptation Fund, Unlocks $20M for Climate Projects

The Bank of Industry (BoI) has been accredited by the Adaptation Fund, unlocking $20 million for climate-related interventions in Nigeria. The accreditation allows BoI access to $10 million for a single climate adaptation project and a total of $20 million for nationwide interventions over five years.

This certification positions BoI as a key player in attracting funding for projects addressing adverse climate conditions in the country. The Managing Executive of BoI, Olasupo Olusi, highlighted the significance of this accreditation in enabling the bank to support communities affected by climate change.

The move is crucial in tackling the multifaceted challenges posed by climate change in Nigeria across various sectors.
