Boko Haram Abducts Pastor's Wife and Children in Borno

Boko Haram militants abducted the wife and three children of Pastor Mose Guguma, a clergyman from the Cocin Church, on a Saturday around 12 noon. The incident took place close to Kareto village along the Maiduguri-Damasak road in northern Borno State, approximately 156 kilometers from the state capital, Maiduguri.

The family was traveling in a commercial vehicle when the terrorists intercepted them, demanding that the pastor's wife and children disembark while allowing other passengers to continue their journey. Following the abduction, the pastor's family members, who spoke anonymously, expressed concern for the victims' safety, especially since the pastor's wife had recently been discharged from a hospital in Maiduguri.

The exact whereabouts of the victims remain unknown, and security forces have not issued any official statement regarding the incident or any ransom demands.
