NAF Destroys Terrorist Hideouts in Borno State

On April 24, 2026, at 6:50 PM, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) executed a precision airstrike against terrorist hideouts in the Southern Tumbun area of Borno State. This operation was confirmed in a statement signed by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, the Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF headquarters.

The air operation was part of a sustained effort to dismantle terrorist networks, following credible intelligence regarding terrorist activities in the region. Surveillance missions identified concealed tracks and structures used by insurgents, leading to targeted strikes that successfully destroyed these terrorist enclaves.
