NAF Intensifies Airstrikes Against Terrorists in North-East

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its air campaign against insurgents in North-East Nigeria, executing precise airstrikes on terrorist strongholds in Sambisa and Tumbun. According to a statement released on Friday by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, the operations are part of a systematic effort to dismantle terrorist networks.

On April 30, NAF aircraft targeted insurgent enclaves, obliterating hideouts and crippling logistical hubs. The strikes were based on credible intelligence, confirming the destruction of terrorist infrastructure and supply nodes.

Following this, on May 1, NAF conducted further strikes on fortified strongholds in Tumbun, engaging targets with overwhelming firepower. Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sundai Kelvin Anek stated that operations will continue until the threat is eliminated, emphasizing the NAF's commitment to maintaining pressure on terrorist groups and ensuring national security.
