Nigerian Official Accused of Certificate Forgery Scandal

A corruption scandal has emerged in Nigeria as Nwankwoez Williamson Chijiok, a senior official in the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), is accused of forging academic certificates to advance his career within the civil service. Chijiok allegedly falsified his educational background, starting with a fake Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, which led to obtaining higher qualifications.

The Kwara State Polytechnic has disowned the OND certificate presented by Chijiok. Authorities are urged to investigate and prosecute Chijiok for forgery, perjury, and conspiracy.
