CIFCFIN Demands Prosecution of Ex-Minister Nnaji for Alleged Certificate Forgery

The Council for Institute of Forensic and Certified Fraud Examiners in Nigeria (CIFCFIN) is calling for the prosecution of former Minister Nnaji over alleged certificate forgery. Dr.

Iliyasu Gashinbaki, the CIFCFIN governing council chairman, emphasized the need for accountability to combat the culture of forgery in public service. The institute proposed a forensic audit to verify the academic credentials of civil servants and public office holders to uphold professional integrity.

Additionally, Citizens Advocacy Social Economic Rights (CASER) urged the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Enugu State to take action. This move aims to restore integrity in public institutions and deter future fraudulent activities in line with global best practices.
