Nigerian Airforce Officer Allegedly Ordered to Kill NSA Ribadu in Foiled Coup Plot

A Nigerian Air Force officer, identified as Squadron Leader B. Adamu, was allegedly tasked with eliminating National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu in a foiled coup plot against President Bola Tinubu's administration.

The plot, involving several senior officials, was uncovered during an investigation into the deployment of Adamu to the Nation Counter Terror Center. The probe is examining the circumstances surrounding the deployment order and the extent of infiltration within the security architecture.

While official statements have not confirmed the assassination plot, 16 military officers are currently under investigation.
