APC Opposes Impeachment Move Against Rivers Governor Fubara by Wike-Led Assembly

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has vehemently opposed the impeachment proceedings initiated by the State House of Assembly, allegedly at the behest of Governor Nyesom Wike, against Deputy Governor Siminalayi Fubara. The APC, through its Public Secretary Darlington Nwauju, labeled the move as politically motivated and unacceptable.

The party warned against the impeachment attempt, citing internal crises within the People's Democratic Party (PDP) as a possible cause. Nwauju assured that the APC would take all necessary steps to ensure the stability of the Rivers State government and resist any efforts to disrupt it.
