APGA's Charles Soludo Wins Anambra Governorship Election by Landslide

Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, representing the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has emerged as the winner of the Anambra State Governorship Election, declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Soludo, the current Governor of Anambra State, achieved a sweeping victory across all 21 local government areas, garnering 422,664 votes.

His closest competitor, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the Progress Congress, trailed with 99,445 votes. The election recorded impressive voter participation across 5,720 polling units, with Soludo maintaining a commanding lead in both urban and rural areas.

The victory solidifies APGA's continued dominance in Anambra politics, extending the party's winning streak in the state's governorship elections. INEC is expected to issue Soludo a certificate of return in Awka, the state capital.
