Bolt to Continue Operations in Nigeria After Uber Exit

Bolt has announced its intention to remain operational in Nigeria, despite the recent decision by rival ride-hailing company Uber to cease its operations in Nigeria and Uganda, effective September 2, 2026. The announcement coincides with Uber's immediate shutdown of its operations in Nigeria and Uganda, which the company stated was limited to these two markets and would not affect its operations elsewhere.
