EFCC Declares Ex-Minister Timipre Sylva Wanted Over $14.8 Million Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared former Minister and ex-Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, wanted for his alleged involvement in a $14.8 million fraud case connected to the Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board. The fraud reportedly involves funds provided to Atlantic International Refinery and Petrochemical Limited.

The warrant for Sylva's arrest was issued by a Lagos State High Court. Sylva, 61, hails from Brass Local Government Area in Bayelsa State.

The EFCC has urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them.
