Ex-Governor Ladoja Crowned 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland in Historic Ceremony

Former Governor Ladoja has been crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland in a historic event at the Ose Meji Temple in Ibadan. Governor Seyi Makinde presented him with the traditional Akoko leaf at the coronation in Mapo Hall.

Ladoja's ascension follows the passing of the 43rd Olubadan, paving the way for his nomination and subsequent endorsement by council members. Despite Ladoja's absence at the meeting, the decision was unanimous.

The coronation is pending final preparations before the official ceremony. This marks a significant moment in Ibadan's traditional leadership history.
