Senator Ladoja Crowned 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland in Grand Ceremony

Former Oyo State Governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, has been crowned the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland in a colorful coronation ceremony attended by dignitaries including Governor Seyi Makinde, President Bola Tinubu, and Sultan of Sokoto. Ladoja ascended the throne following the passing of his predecessor in July 2025.

The event, held at Mapo Hall in Ibadan, marked a significant transition for Ladoja, who has a rich political and traditional background. Ladoja's journey from a senator to governor to now the Olubadan showcases his decades of experience in both political and traditional spheres.
